Wed, 22 August 2007 ![]() Cooking with the wannabe redneck, Hans, via the series of tubes, with not much cycling discussed this time, however, we did have Norwegian pop (music), micro-brewed beer, samba, pellet guns, hillbilly foreplay, and much, much more! I think Hans was on the verge of a Mel Gibson moment, but managed to keep himself under control. You have to take his environment into consideration... Photo by Hans. Posted by Rob. Tue, 21 August 2007 Alex writes: "It's always good go through old files and see which ones are being downloaded and which aren't. While going through the files I decided to make the top 10 most popular downloads from this site." Here they are in reverse order: 10) Lesson #5 Asking someone out 9) Lesson #15 Wait a moment Mr Postman In this lesson we learned to count with Waka sensei. This was my favorite show and has been popular ever since we released it. Recently all the Fun Friday episodes have been more popular than the normal lessons.4) ALT RAP by Rob (a.k.a. Mon, 13 August 2007 Jonny Heartbreaker, Rob, Makiko, Chunza (a.k.a. Okha, Flying Koala) and Hyun-ju enjoy an evening of song & drink. This is part one of a series of recordings done back when we recorded Slainte & Gonbe and several other gems.
The artwork is a live painting / collage done at the monthly Flo-Union event at The Pink Cow back in April, which coincided with the month-long Nama Artshow. It was done by Makiko and me while DJ Ryosuke Ito (Taiyo Record) spun tracks for our inspiration. Further explications [sic] and links and whatnot coming soon. Posted by Rob. Tue, 31 July 2007 Alex's adventures continue in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, as we are joined by Miss Tasmania, who tells us of the strange and bizarre cicadas of some place she's probably just making up. Her boyfriend Masaki currently works 6 days a week making sushi in a French restaurant?? I'll have to listen to this podcast again to catch all the details. You should listen to it twice, and forward the link to all your friends and long lost relatives... http://media.libsyn.com/media/newsfromtheotherside/talk_show_28.mp3
