Fri, 26 October 2007 Anyone reading this has probably completely forgotten we even mentioned this video by now. This is the first of what should be a series of Semtazone videos, starting with this interview conducted in French at Lush in Shibuya. The question posed (in my crap French) was this: "What were your first impressions of Japan?" The band were touring Japan for the first time (except for their translator, who had spent some time over here as a child). I'll post the band members' names soon, but you can probably figure them out, if you can understand their gestures and check out their MySpace page. For the links, please look at the previous Talk Show and Panic Living posts where we were refering to this gig. I'll get links up soon, I promise. Pardon my crap French. Filmed and edited by Alex. Wed, 10 October 2007 Recorded the day of the Semtazone gig (which was fantastic) and uploaded the morning after. Today Alex and I are going to record the talk show mentioned in this solo podcast. Stay tuned for a full report from the concert, interviews with band members and fans, and videos of most of the bands who performed. Posted by Rob.

Sun, 7 October 2007 A pre-NFTOS podcast recording back when we was The If Factor (Alex, Jonny Heartbreaker and Rob), or Cafe Velo, or some such incarnation as yet undetermined... It demonstrates our creative process (or lack thereof) and you can hear our programming strategy being discussed, back before we had any program. But we did have a few recordings (Cafe Velo Promo, Sachiko Screams, etc)...
Oh, there's a lot more that could be said about this recording, but it can wait. And there's a photo someplace, on a backup hardrive somewhere which may feature these three chaps back when they were young and naive. Guys, a photo? Anyone out there got a photo of us three? Wed, 3 October 2007 Was up early today and went hiking in Tsukuba, Ibarki Prefecture, a place which a student told me about yesterday. I took an express train from Akihabara which took approximately 45 minutes and then took a local bus (after a 30 minute wait) which took another 40 minutes...
In other news, it looks like I've deleted the banner again! I always do that when I'm trying to change certain Libsyn settings. Alex! Help... Posted by Rob.
