It's been over a year since we last uploaded a podcast. We're actually both sitting at home sick today, and that's probably what it will take for us to record our next one, but I hope not. We certainly have a lot of stories left to tell. While the podcast before last focused on our new hobby diving, and the last one focused on travel, this one focuses on getting back into running and cycling here in Malaysia. Posted by Rob. OK, it looks like we are back into the swing of things yet again. This is the second podcast in a week from Makiko and I, and we are on a ROLL! I've gotten back my gift of rant. As well as my ability to um, and uh, and like, basically, right? Makiko shows her uncanny ability with directions and locations. And we don't disparage the town or its citizens too badly as we strain our memories to recall every possible detail of Kota Bharu--the good, the bad and the ugly. Posted by Rob. Selamat pagi (not petang) from KL. In this episode we rack (wreck?) our brains trying hard to remember a trip back in April of 2012 (nearly eight months ago), and we struggle to speak right after such a long absence from making audio recordings (a.k.a. podcasts). We slaughter Malay and Chinese words alike as we drift across the landscape of Peninsular Malaysia. Recorded and edited by Makiko and Rob. Photo by Makiko. Posted by Rob. Makiko gives you a tour of Paris and Sado Island blindfolded! Actually, she flicks through her iPhone photo album trying to remember what she did on two different trips, and I coax her to get as much information about her trips as possible. The above video was filmed above Loma Linda, California, at the end of last year. The audio podcast was recorded on or around 23 January, and we talked about our Christmas and New Year's holidays.
