You may recall us mentioning Natsu's 2006 film Rudy Soup, and the opening party which I had the privilege of DJing for. Well, Natsu is back with another project, this one titled "Crazy Girl Sweet Broken Case." I don't know anything about it yet, but I'll find out as much as I can. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer!

Just a reminder that we have videos on Revver (31 from Elgringo and 25 from hunyaga. Revver videos can be subscribed to directly or via iTunes. The video featured above is from the early days of the podcast, shot in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Japanese National Foundation Day, 11 February 2006.

This is a guy we've mentioned before who I've collaborated with at VJ-DJ events. You've gotta watch him recap the year that was with his Show Reel 2007! The file is pretty big, so you might want to pause the .mov file and let it load up before trying to watch it.

This just in from regular NFTOS art show participant and podcast contributor Joe Baldwin in Chicago. It's called Sojourn in a Foreign Land...

I have new video work online: http://lamewebdesign.com/home/joe/homeless/sojournweb.html - I would love your feedback.

All of the images were created with a homemade camera. Inside the camera is a modified flatbed scanner, and for the optics it uses copy camera lenses. There were actually two cameras modified for this project along with two scanners. The images are in general unedited, but occasionally stretched to release hidden visual information.

The audio is a mix of gathered sound along with a track that is a direct audio translation of the video - using a light densitometer that was facing the monitor while my timeline played. The light densitometer sends the info through a 1/4" stereo plug and converted to an 1/8" plug and into a .wav recorder.

The concept and images are inspired by Zeno's Paradoxes and Abbott's Flatland.

Thanks,
Joe

Rik Sanchez & Co. are Osaka originals. Follow the YouTube link to Rik's other videos. Proceed at your own risk! Violence and all manners of weirdness take place by the time you get to part 3! Posted by Rob.

This is a video Charles Billard made 19 years ago while still in Quebec! If you're interested in fighting Le Ninja Rouge yourself, watch it until the end when you will be called out! Download an entry form at Charlou2006.blogspot.com ...he'll fight you! Posted by Rob.

I know these people. If you've been around NFTOS for awhile, you probably know some of them too. The credits are in the film. I'll explain this one better later. Posted by Rob.
